Additive Manufacturing General Helper - C shift

Job Description
Position Description: Protingent has a contract opportunity for a Manufacturing General Helper with our client in Kent, WA.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supporting the receiving and shipping of parts used for the Additive Manufacturing process.
- Marking, tagging, and labeling various items such as flight hardware, inventory locations, 5S work, etc.
- Pneumatic and basic hand tool use for removing material from printed hardware.
- Preparing material for use in Additive machines to support weekly and monthly demand needs.
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment utilized in the Additive process.
- Support the staging, shipments, and uncrating of Additive hardware.
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training in manufacturing or mechanical disciplines is a plus.
- 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment preferred.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with pneumatic and hand tools.
- Understanding of manufacturing safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to visually inspect parts for damage or defects.
- Basic computer literacy for labeling, inventory tracking, and administrative support.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Demonstrated flexibility to assist across multiple teams and adapt to changing priorities.
- Familiarity with 5S principles and general facility maintenance is a plus.
- Forklift or material handling experience is a bonus, but not required.
Job Details:
- Job Type: Contract
- Location: Onsite Kent, WA
- Pay Rate: $34-35/hr.
- ITAR obligations are associated with this role, U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, or protected person status under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a) (1), (3) is required.
