Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract opportunity for Business Analyst & Process Documentation Specialist with our client located in Santa Clara, CA.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work closely with SMEs, process owners and stakeholders to understand and document processes across different departments.
- Identify any variations and improvement opportunities in the processes.
- Create and maintain detailed process documentation including SIPOC and swimlane process map.
- Organize information in a logical and understandable format suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ensure documentation adheres to company standards and follows best practices for Process Documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and validate documentation accuracy.
- Update and revise documentation as necessary to reflect process changes and improvements.
- Conduct reviews and audits of existing documentation to identify areas for improvement or updates.
- Assist in developing templates, style guides, and other tools to support documentation efforts.
- Participate in meetings and discussions to stay informed about changes in processes and business operations.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a related field.
- 5 years experience as a Process Documenter or in a similar role documenting complex processes.
- Strong understanding of Process Documentation principles and methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency in using documentation tools and software (e.g., Visio or Lucid Chart).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality documentation.
- Experience working in a cross-functional team environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Job Qualification:
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies or project management practices.
- Experience working in the tech industry.
- Experience with subscription processes.
- Lean Yellow Belt training or competency.
Job Details:
- Job Type: Contract
- Pay Rate: $75-$82/hr.
- Location: Santa Clara, CA.
- ITAR obligations are associated with this role, U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, or protected person status under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a) (1), (3) is required.
