Job Description
Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting Contract Business Intelligence Specialist opportunity located in Kirkland, WA.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support internal BI projects and company-wide data initiatives
- Use repeatable BI practices, principles, and processes
- Guide program teams so that they can make the fullest use of the reporting solutions
- Recommend and develop business metrics through a reporting tool, such as Power BI
- Develop data models using SQL, Dax, and other tools and methodologies
- Support beginning machine learning efforts
- Clean, analyze, and validate data using statistical tools and methods
- Meet with business teams to gather and refine requirements
- Architect solutions that will meet the business and technical goals
- Document business rules to capture the expected behavior of a product(s)
- Create artifacts such as requirements documents, process flows, data dictionaries, and data models.
Job Qualifications:
- Designing the presentation layer
- SQL
- Reporting tools, particularly Power BI experience
- Requirements management and process design, especially requirements for data products, reports, and analyses
- Excel Functionality (Power Pivot, Power Query, formulas, etc.)
- Applying statistical principles to your analysis and explaining why
- Validating data
- You Might Have Experience with:
- Python
- Machine learning
- Azure Synapse (Azure SQL Data Warehouse)
- Azure Synapse to Fabric migration
- Azure Analysis Services
- Azure Data Factory
- Online Data Catalog.
Job Details:
- Job Type: Contract
- Location: Kirkland, WA.
- Pay Rate Range: $50-80/hr.
