Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract opportunity for a Business Intelligence Analyst with our client located in San Francisco, CA.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyzes complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers.
- Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences.
- Constructs forecasts, recommendations and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge.
- Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements.
- May provide consultation to users and lead cross-functional teams to address business issues.
- May directly produce datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools.
Job Qualification:
- 5+ years SQL and databases for data analysis and reporting. Knowledge of Snowflake is preferred
- 5+ years working directly with end users, developing and owning complex analytical models
- 2+ years working with shared data sources in Tableau
- 2+ years of experience working with python experience using Airflow for ETL, processing REST API.
Nice to have
- 2+ years of experience working with ERP ( preferably SAP ) data
- Supply Chain Manufacturing industry experience would be ideal
- Experience with Business Objects reporting
