Position Title: Engineering Processes Specialist
Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract Engineering Processes Specialist opportunity with our client in Bellevue, Washington
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, audit, and maintain procedures, forms, work guides, tools, and training material related to design control, configuration management, and other engineering processes.
- Assess project-specific procedures and tools for compliance with higher level business processes and requirements and provide input for alignment as appropriate.
- Distill requirements for qualification of software and other implementing tools from defined procedures, and provide suggestions for improvement, simplification, and efficiency.
- Identify, raise, and resolve inconsistencies and deficiencies in existing processes and procedures, including initiation and resolution of condition reports.
Job Qualifications:
- B.S. or higher in relevant engineering discipline from an accredited university and 30+ years direct experience in an Engineering work environment.
- Expert knowledge of quality program design and configuration management principles, practices, and tools in the nuclear industry is required.
- Experience in writing and maintaining technical project procedures and associated requirements.
- Experience working to ASME NQA-1 required.
- Experience with 10 CFR 50 Appendix B control programs required.
- Experience with ANSI/NIRMA CM 1.0 preferred.
- Experience developing software integration to support design control program is highly desired.
- Attention to detail and aspiration for technical excellence.

Initially, I focused on supporting our spaceflight clients, later expanding to industries such as sustainable energy and nuclear power.
