Job Description
Position Title: Senior QA Engineer
Position Description: Protingent has an exciting opportunity for a contract Senior QA Engineer with our client located in San Francisco, CA
Job Responsibilities:
- Write and execute manual test plans, file bugs, and communicate with the team about issues
- Ensure testing best practices are used in Product Development
- Work with feature teams to identify risk and plan for Quality Assurance early in the product lifecycle
Job Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience in manual web or UI testing
- Experience working in CI/CD environments & using build tools (We use CircleCI)
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle and software quality assurance techniques
- Expertise in building and running complex test environments, in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Strong test planning and test case generation skills
- Experience with Cypress.io or similar test automation frameworks
Test experience with products built with Ruby on Rails, React or Angular - Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Interest or experience in healthcare-focused software quality assurance
