Position Title:  Sr. Test Engineer or Test Manager

Position Description:  Our San Jose, CA  based client is looking to hire a Sr. Test Engineer or Test Manager.

This is a direct-hire opportunity, open to pay rate. Based on the role there is an option to work in the US or Shanghai (relocation package offered for San Jose or Shanghai).  H1B candidates are welcome.

Must speak  in Chinese and English fluently.

Job Requirements:
  • Play a critical role in ATE (automatic Test Equipment / SLT (system level test) Test Program / Load Board Development and Debug, focusing on  Large Scale Digital Chip, Mixed Mode Chip and SOC Chip, which are designed and manufactured on deep submicron process (90nm, 65nm, 40nm, 28nm, 22nm, 16nm). 
  • Support the R&D team and play a critical role in DFT (design for test), also focusing on the large scale chips discussed above.
  • Play a critical role in ATE / SLT production, which include but not limit to the following:  
  1. Improve the test coverage to achieve the lowest ppm failure rate
  2. Reduce the test time and use less expensive test platform to reduce the cost
  3. Transfer test program / load board one factory or the other factory (factories) to increase the capacity

Job Qualifications:

Sr. Test Engineer:
  • B.S. Degree or above in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or other Science & Engineering major;
  • 5+ years of working experience in VLSI ATE Test 
  • Interested in relocating to Shanghai, China
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in both Chinese and English
  • Good documentation and presentation skills
  • Quick learner who is willing to take challenges and to solve difficult technical problems.

Test Manager:
  • B.S. Degree or above in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or other Science & Engineering major;
  • 10+ years  of working experience in ATE Test  and 1-2 years management experience
  • Will consider candidates that only speak Chinese and English (relaxing on read and write portion) 
  • Good documentation and presentation skills;
  • Quick learner who is willing to take challenges and to solve difficult technical problems.

 

Preferred:
  • Advantest 93K related working experience preferred. 
  • CPU related working experience preferred.
